Some of the original followers of the Nerdtastic Facebook page might remember our support for Lesser Gnome Games’ Kickstarter project; the Whisper & Venom Box Set. Here are a few pictures of the unboxing of my package, which arrived on December 20th, just in time for Christmas!
This cover art, by veteran artist and illustrator, Jeff Dee, is amazing! Jeff’s next Kickstarter project, the 11th installment recreating his legendary Fiend Folio illustrations, has its own Facebook group you can join HERE. – Jeff has been re-creating the old originals after, as he relates, a thoughtless lackey at TSR destroyed the originals to make room for more files.
In a nice touch, the inner packing was sealed with a Lesser Gnome logo. I really appreciate the attention to detail and finishing touches. I can tell Zach is as nerdy as I am about packaging, design and branding. Great little detail!
I cannot wait to get to painting these miniatures. Slotty bases were included on slotted minis. Again, attention to detail and creating the full experience. This was no slouch, Zach delivered on his product goals big time!
This project hit some great stretch goals and it really paid off, these minis are awesome! Kudos to Zach at Lesser Gnome for going with metal!
