Blood For The Blood God!

I’m loving this Blood For The Blood God! I should have started with this barbarian miniature. I love this guy, he’s probably my favorite human miniature and I knew he would look like even more of a BAMF if I threw some blood on him. I don’t even have to tell you, just check out the pics below.

First, here’s an old picture of him from when I first painted him. (April of 2013 actually, meaning he’s one year old.)

And here are the pics I took just now after giving him the blood treatment. I used regular brush technique on the blades and the toothbrush again to get the blood spatter effect. Doing that, even just a little bit, really adds a level of realism to him. Where he looked like man ready to kick some major @$$ before, he now looks like a monster who’s been kicking @$$ for a while and is about to kick yours!

I’m very pleased again with the performance of this paint. I have a few more minis I’m sure will benefit from the blood treatment and I’ll be sure to post more of them as I complete them. More on the way!
